India's skincare market is flooded with products laced with parabens, sulfates, SLS, and artificial fragrances — ingredients linked to long-term skin and health damage. Yet Indian consumers, willing to pay premium prices, were left with no clean alternative they could truly trust.

Cosmyra was founded in February 2026 by Mahboob Hasan with a clear conviction: Indian consumers deserve better. Not just marketing claims of being "natural" — but genuinely organic formulations, transparent about every ingredient, with no or minimal side effects.

Under our flagship brand Vaidyam — meaning "Science of Healing" — we are developing a curated range of Class 3 cosmetics: facewash, shampoo, soap, hair oil, and more. Every formula is built on real organic ingredients — turmeric, neem, ashwagandha, aloe vera — the same ingredients Indian households have trusted for centuries, now delivered in modern, effective formulations.

The Chemical Problem

Mainstream brands load products with parabens, SLS, sulfates and artificial fragrances — damaging skin, hair and long-term health — while marketing themselves as "gentle" and "safe."
